You are all doing a great job calling Erik... again ***-***-****:) Emery's surgery is over. It went very well, and he now has a brand new feeding tube that gets to be used as early as tonight. No more NG tubes! He is still on the vent and was riding it when I came in at relatively high settings but they are coming down slowly. He's occasionally moving and starting to come out of anesthesia. The hope is to have him extubated by tonight. Say prayers! Also, there were NO tornadoes today! They happened all week, including last night, but the sun is shining today, so no we weren't kept from surgery this time, phew! Oh, and gotta love my boy. He's back to sucking on his ET tube.
