must update. I talk a lot about what is wrong with Emery, so I need to talk about what is right. Emery is 15 days of the vent and 6 days off the steroids. The physical therapist said his body moves well, 'beautifully' for a sick baby. His rate on SIMV has been weaned down from 38 breaths a minute to 30 breaths a minute. He's learning how to do the work himself. Emery is gaining weight well. Oh, and by the way, I talked to the nurse tonight. At 11 p.m. Emery is being moved to bay 2.............
